| Achievements I have passed eight G.C.S.E\'s and an A.S level in Art and Design. In 2007 I passed my level two ITEC beauty specialist diploma where I was awarded Dermalogica student of the year. Last year I completed and passed with credits my final exams in Anatomy and physiology, body electricals, holistic therapy along with my ITEC beauty specialist level 3. As a result of these qualifications, along with lots of hard work I am running my own salon and building a loyal clientele. Between the age of five and fifteen I won many sporting awards and trophys, horse riding, skiing and ice skating. Swimming a mile at the age of seven for charity was one of my personal favourites. During that time I was a member of the Rotherham Harriers. In both cross country running and football I represented my schools and my town, I loved being part of a team. Due to a horse riding injury and studying I had to stop competitive sport, until I ran the race for life last year along with my nan. Finishing in the final fifteen in Miss England 2008 and winning the public vote was an amazing experience, from which I attended a tv presenters course, many modelling assignments and lots of charity events. I am extremely grateful for these opportunities and have learnt so much along with having lots of fun. I have continued to update my website with some of the events that I have attended, this has helped me to be involved with many charities during my year as Miss Sheffield 2008, www.jaimeleefaulkner.co.uk. My most recent achievement is winning Miss South Yorkshire 2009, for which I am so happy to have the chance to work towards my dream of becoming Miss England.
Talents
I love to make people smile. Communicating with people of all ages including children is something that I do very well and consider to be a great talent. Skiing and horse riding are passions of mine. I do both of these sports as often as I can and have done from a very young age. Art and fashion design has always been of interest to me as I always take great pride in my appearence, fitness and clothes. Speaking publicly and presenting at charity events is something that I am really enjoying and would like to further as a career.
Ambitions
My main ambition in life is for myself, my family and my friends to live a long, healthy and happy life full of success. Another ambition of mine is to own my own health spa with rehabilitation facilities where people can come for various treatments. I am one step closer to achieving this now that I am running my own small salon. Many opportunities have come my way this past year, I feel very lucky. As my nature is to work hard and do my best in everything I do I know that I will continue this ethos to achieve my dreams and continue to take all the opportunities given to me. I want to be a good role model for young girls and encourage others to follow their dreams as they can become a reality. I realise how lucky I am everyday and would love to help less fortunate people in any way that I can.
